Even on the beach a mom's job is never done... all the bending AND lifting AND holding AND swinging AND digging AND squatting... ain't nobody got time for a wardrobe malfunction! So, we've rounded up our Top 5 favorite #momfriendly swimsuits that allow for more play, and less adjusting.
1. Kortni Jeane - I didn't pick one particular suit from Kortni Jeane because the options are endless with KJ swimmers. You can literally make thousands of combinations! The high waisted bottoms and plenty of coverage on the backside allow for no-worry beach play. KJ carries super fun tops with various levels of coverage (for various sizes of chests) to mix and match. And speaking of matching, KJ has matching swimmers for the whole family and maternity options too!
2. Amazon - Funnygirl Printed Zip Front Rashguard. This rashgaurd is under $30 and it fits like a dream! Be sure to read the reviews before deciding on a size. I sized up and it fit perfectly. The coverage is awesome, and if you're breastfeeding, the zipper in the front makes for easy beach or pool-side access!
3. Albion - Classic One Piece. It's hard to choose a favorite swimmer from Albion, because they're all SO GOOD, but their Classic One Piece, is in fact, a classic! The fabric is insanely supple. It's by far the most comfortable suit I've ever owned, and I love pairing it with a high waisted skirt or flowy pants. It has a classic ballet leotard look to it, which I love! The bum coverage is top-notch and the low-ish scoop back is just enough to make you feel a bit cheeky. It's a little pricey, BUT it's definitely a piece you'll keep forever - because this style ain't going nowhere!
4. ASOS - Polka Dot Belted Swimsuit in Rust. Two things: one, polka dots never go out of style - just ask Minnie Mouse. And two, just say yes to a belted swimsuit! I'm not going to lie, this swimmer gives all the "Big-Mistake-Huge"-Pretty-Woman vibes, and I am 100% ok with that! The belt is super slimming AND it's on sale right now for less than $35! Run!
5. Target - Women's Lace One Piece. I went back and forth on whether or not to include this one, but ultimately I just couldn't leave it out. I bought it years ago, but the fact is, it ALWAYS makes it in to my suitcase. It's an "old faithful," I guess. It has great coverage on the rear, and a little bit of a dip in the front. If you're large chested, this may not be the best option for you because the cup inserts are kind of weird. I personally just take them out. So, if you're looking for serious support, this one doesn't have it. That being said, if you're small up top like me, this is a true keeper!
