We whipped up this Frida costume with a few things we found around the house! We're confident, you can too!
For this costume, you will need:
- eye liner
- fake flowers
- hair clip
- floral dress
- monkey (we used a lemur)
To make the floral hair piece, we simply hot glued fake flowers onto a hair-clip. We pulled A's hair up in two separate sections and twisted them into a crown, clipped the floral headpiece in and drew Frida's iconic unibrow using brown eyeliner pencil. We slipped on a festive dress and grabbed W's stuffed lemur (it was that or Curious George).
I'm pretty sure this was A's favorite costume of the bunch. Check out the "Many Faces of Frida" below.
