Thanksgiving is upon us, and while we love the family gatherings and food and tryptophan naps... we don’t like spending a bunch of money on decor that we’re going to use for one day and then MOVE OVER BECAUSE IT‘S CHRISTMAS TIME!! So, here’s a super cheap option that will dress up your table without breaking the bank!
All you’ll need is a bag of artificial leaves and a marker. We found our 50 count bag of leaves at Dollar Tree, but we’ve seen tons of options at Hobby Lobby, Michaels and even Joann’s (all for under $5).
Instructions:
Place your base leaves in a circle to create your faux charger. Next, place your plate on top of the leaves. You may have to adjust your leaves a bit once the plate is set. Add a napkin (we handmade ours using linen from Joann’s) and another leaf or two on top of the plate. Next, using your marker (we used a white paint marker, but any permanent marker will do) write the names of your guests and add it on top of the napkin. That’s it! You’re table is ready, now it just needs the yummy food! Here’s hoping your turkey cooks through and your gravy never runs out!!
