Having a mermaid party, or just have a mermaid-obsessed kid...? Don't spend a fortune. We pulled together this (last minute) Mermaid crown for less than $5 bucks! And the birthday girl was "flippin' her fins" over it!!
Here's what you'll need:
1. Plastic crown - Dollar Tree $1.00
2. Bag of Moss - Dollar Tree $1.00
3. Shells - Dollar Tree $1.00
4. Starfish - we had some at home, but you can find a package of them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby for less than $2.00 (be sure to use a 40% app coupon).
5. Glitter (Optional)
Directions:
1. Using hot glue, cover the plastic crown in moss.
2. Next, add the shells and sea creatures.
3. Cover in glitter (if you wish)... and voila! Just look at this magical mermaid!
