Backyard Flower Bath Bombs

Our kids are obsessed with bath bombs these days...but those suckers can be pricey (especially if your kid begs to have one every night for bathtime). So we decided to whip up our own batch using a few household items and some backyard flowers. Below, you will find the recipe for our sensory-stimulating-smooth-skin-making-fizzy-flower bath bombs!

1 cup baking soda

1 cup citric acid

1/2 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup oil (canola, sunflower, coconut - whatever you've got)

backyard flowers

essential oils

Mix the dry ingredients together and then slowly add your canola oil. Add some backyard flowers and essential oils (to your liking). We used a mix of DoTERRA Lavender and Citrus Bliss and they smelled like heaven! Scoop the mixture into some plastic eggs and leave overnight to dry. Makes about 8-10 bath bomb eggs. Plop one in the tub for a super fizzy flower explosion that will leave your kiddos' skin super soft and smelling sweet!
